Yoga Mad

There are quite a few different types of yoga that you can practice, and one of the most popular is Kundalini yoga meditation. Kundalini yoga uses the elements of breathing, moving, stretching meditation, relaxation, meditation, sound and rhythm together. You can enjoy spine and flexibility stretches to feel best during this powerful form of yoga.

The word Kundalini is Sanskrit meaning “coiled up” which is a reference to the powerful latent energy found in people that helps with self-healing and higher cognition of the mind. Kundalini yoga allows everyone to tap into this latent energy to use its benefits.

Breathe in Kundalini Yoga

One of the most important parts to awakening Kundalini yoga is the specific breathing exercises involved. There is a type of breathing called the Breath of Fire or the Maha Agni Pranayam that is a rhythmic and rapid motion that has been said to create a harmony all all the systems and organs of the body to synchronize the body and mind.

Kundalini Mantra

An incredibly important part of Kundalini yoga is the aspect of mantra, which raises the frequency of energy in the body and improves the self-healing process. There are a grouping of sounds or a sound with a pre-determined tone and vibrance that will help with the breathing and relaxation techniques in Kundalini yoga.

Through the breathing techniques and meditation found in Kundalini yoga, students are encouraged to find new levels of self-confidence and become stronger by harnessing the new energy they find within their bodies and by tuning into what their bodies are saying. The balanced development of Kundalini yoga is slow, but graceful, yielding benefits over time.

Since Kundalini yoga is a more gentle version of yoga, it’s a great form to start with when you are being introduced to yoga in general.
